Work Together Foundation established a network of global social enterprise through the overseas training program “Let's Give Wings to Social Entrepreneurs!” and strengthened its function as a window for leading international exchanges. The enactment of the Social Enterprise Promotion Act in 2007 made this possible, acting as a stepping stone for social entrepreneurs to stretch their influence on a global scale.
In 2008, based on domestic and international social economy networks, international exchange and global cooperation projects gradually expanded. In order to lay the groundwork for the formation of networks in Asia, the foundation hosted Asian Social Entrepreneurs Summit (ASES).
In 2014, WT Foundation became the first to hold the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) in Asia, based on the achievements of hosting ASES. And through SEWF, the foundation had led entrepreneurs to discuss the role of social enterprises in solving global social issues such as unemployment and social polarization in depth.
The foundation, which led the growth of Korean social enterprises, is now incubating and accelerating social enterprises in developing countries based on the know-how accumulated through past experience. Not limiting itself to Korea, the foundation is bolstering regional sustainability with a common goal of “creating decent jobs” with global social economy actors surrounding its ecosystem.
WT Foundation aims to strengthen its function as an intermediary organization, connecting government, private companies, social enterprises, and civil society - building a foundation for growing together by establishing a global social economy network.

In 2008, through the ASES Seoul Declaration, A route to promote international cooperation and networking between social enterprises in Asian countries including Korea more smoothly was provided.
Afterwards, in 2010, the 2nd ASES had social entrepreneurs in Asian countries discuss the current status of their business and future cooperative measures while the 3rd ASES in 2012 under the title of “SELF Asia with ASES” was held as a platform for the cooperation between Asian social entrepreneurs with the theme of connecting local communities with the rest of the world. Rich and active networking between Asian social entrepreneurs took place here. Then in 2014, based on ASES, the international interchange networks expanded into the Social Enterprise World Forum.
