Asian Social Entrepreneurs Summit (ASES)

WT Foundation operated the largest network in Asia; to establish and revitalize social enterprise networks in the Asian region; and to support exchange and solidarity among Asian social enterprise activists.

Description

Through active exchange between various entities based in Asia, the unique model of Asia different from that of social economy developed centrally of the US, and Europe, was shared, and the consensus was formed on establishing a discourse in the voices of Asia.

The Asian Social Entrepreneurs Summit (ASES) planned to strengthen solidarity and enhance cooperation of the Asian network. It provided the opportunity to discuss the social economy role of Asia based on the geographic, economic, and cultural area along with entities concerned about sustainability of Asia.

    Share successful cases of social economy groups in each Asian country, and discuss their social roles

  • Expansion

    Expansion of ecosystem by establishing a cooperative relationship with social enterprises in Asia

  • Provide

    Provide social economy model in consideration of the distinct characteristics of Asia and contribute to Pan-Asian alternative economic activation

  • Network

    Network construction of government, enterprise, private organization and social economy organization for the social enterprise development
