Global Drive Project (GDP)

WT Foundation, SK Happiness Foundation, and Wheel Wishers, a non-profit organization in the United States, worked together to connect impact investing to solve sustainable social problems. Traveling to more than 20 countries, we have conducted series of projects in search for sustainable social enterprise business models around the world.

Description

Work Together Foundation has visited more than 20 countries on three continents with American NGO Wheel Wishers, starting in Korea, from April 2013 to April 2014, through Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Our project was to accumulate information on social enterprise business models around the world and bring in impact investment to our model to seek ways to solve social issues in sustainable manners. For this, Global Drive Project was proceeded by meeting with 87 social entrepreneurs and incorporating an inclusive business into our project.

We are striving to develop an investment model and attract investment funds, and raise donations through crowdfunding, to mobilize capital for social impact investing for the qualitative growth of overseas social enterprises.
